Texas, Major Duke is the son of Mr.
and Mrs. E. I. Duke of Livingston, and
the husband of the former Miss Barbara
Parker. He and Mrs. Duke are parents

From a Thundrebolt Fighter Station in
England comes word that CAPT. FELIX
A. FRAZIER, son of Mr. and Mrs. Felix
A. Frazier, Sr., of Greenville, has been
awarded the Army Medal with an Oak
Leaf Cluster for completing 20 opera-
tional sorties over enemy-occupied Europe.
His ship, the “Triple Dot’’ is named for
his wife, Mrs. Dorothy S. Frazier, who,
together with their year-old son, Felix
III, lives at 1132 Walnut St., Greenville.

LT. LEE A. DOLBERRY enjoys THE

J. LEFKOFSKY of Corpus Christi has
completed a course in anti-aircraft gun-
nery ta the Coast Artillery Command Tng.
Heights, Canal Zone. He has been with
Hegihts, Canal Zone, He has been with
the armed forces guarding the Panama
Canal since Dec. 9, 1943. His wife lives
at 1523 Stillman Ave., Corpus Christi.
CAPT. PAUL C. WRIGHT, APO 709,
San Francisco, writes that the Muster
on his island would probably be the first
one held as the 1944 Muster follows the
sun. Among other Aggies in his area
are classmate TOM BARRON and Mec-
KEMIE.
LT. ROBERT C. BARTON, Clarksville,
recently arrived in the U. S. on the ex-
change ship Gripsholm. He had been
a prisoner of war in Germany and was
wounded which was the reason for his
exchange. He received his degree in Pet.
Engr. in Feb., 1941. An AP picture indi-
cated he was at the Halloran Cen, Hosp.
in New York, but it is not known if he
will remain there for treatment and
convalescence.
CAPT. JAMES P. GILES, Henderson, is
ferred from Camp Campbell, Ky., to Camp
Barkeley, Texas.

included the following : “I finally got
out of the States and to the place I

in New Guinea, and it looks like I'll have
to go through a hot summer again. If you

up kangaroos just like you do jackrab-

EDWARD W. WAKELAND, son of Edd
W. Wakeland, 3031 Forest Ave., Dallas,
pilot with a B-26 Marauder unit based
in Sardinia has been recently promoted
to the rank of first lieutenant. He flies
with the oldest medium bomb group in
the Mediterranean theater. In 7 months of
combat, he has 22 missions to his credit,
and has participated in attacks on bridges,
rail yards and airfields in Italy and
Southern France. . . . CAPT. GERALD
T. HOOTON’S new address is Hq. 1127th
Engr. C. Gp., Camp Swift, Texas.
Recently returned from foreign serv-
ice, LT. THEODORE R. STELLMACHER,
son of Mr. and Mrs. H. Stellmacher of
730 Nesbitt St., Dallas, is now being pro-
cessed through the Army Air Forces
Redistribution Station No. 2 in Miami
Beach, Fla. He flew 80 missions in the
Southwest Pacific and has been awarded
the Air Medal. Mrs. Stellmacher is with
the Lieutenant at Miami Beach.
LT. JOHN W. JENNINGS is with
Co. D, 201st Inf., Camp Carson, Colo., hav-
ing recently returned to the states from
foreign duty. April 15 he and the former
Miss Nelross Hiester of Fort Worth were
married. . According to Mrs. J. H.

JASPER W. THOMPSON has just reach-
ed Smoky Hill Army Air Field, Salina,
Kans., and has run into JACK WOLFE.
He reports that not long ago he saw
L. M. WILSON at the Army Air Base,
Blythe, Calif. He was in the midst of
phase training as a pilot on a B-24, and
had spent several months in Africa be-
fore his transfer to the Air Corps.
CAPT. CHARLES C, WIGHT, JR. has
been awardeé¢ the Silver Star for gal-
lantry in action in the South Pacific area.
He was cited for adjusting the fire of
guns under his command to eliminate
enemy artillery and enemy machinegun
positions. His wife, Mrs. Jean Massie
Wight, and infant son reside in Vernon,
Texas.
CAPT. RICHARD R. LITSEY, JR,
Army Air Forces, son of Mr. and Mrs.
R. R. Litsey of Sherman, recently return-
ed to the States after twenty months over-
seas as a pilot in the Troop Carrier
Command. He served in England, North
Africa, Sicily, and Italy, and holds the
the Air Medal. He was exchanged for a
German internee after 2 months of inter-
ment in Spain, following a landing in
Spanish Morocco during the invasion of
North Africa, and is now being processed
through the Army Air Forces Redistri-
bution Station No. 2 in Miami Beach, Fla.
WILLIAM C. JENN is a First Lieu-
tenant on overseas duty, APO 638, % PM,
