Wisconsin, since his graduation. He

"DONALD E. FORMBY is em-
ployed by the National Youth Ad-
ministration, Federal Security A-
gency, at Brenham. He receives

IBREY T. BONNETTE has been
transferred from Phillipsburg,
Kansas to Winnfield, Louisiana. He
is with the Carter Oil Company and
gets his mail at Box 605.
C. AUSTIN BURCH gets his mail
at Box 108, Big Spring, Texas,
where he is employed with the Cos-
den Refinery. While a student at
A. & M., Burch took mechani-
cal engineering.
ELTON G. CHAPMAN has been
working with the Census Bureau in
Washington, D. C., since last Au-
gust. Chapman reports that he
has gotten married since he has
been in Washington and he and
Mrs. Chapman reside at 4758 Lee
Highway, Apartment 2, Arlington,
Virginia.
ROBERT E. COLLINS is at-
tending the University of Oklaho-
ma at Norman, and is living at
564 South Boulevard of that city.
FRANK H. CORDER is work-
ing for the Farm Security Admin-
istration as Assistant Rural Sup-
ervisor in Wilson County. He is
located at Floresville, Texas, where

1939 Rodeo, member of the 1939

DAVID L. DUNAGAN has been
called to active duty and is located

GEORGE B. GIBSON, a grad-
uate in electrical engineering, is
employed by the H. B. Gieb & Co.,
Consulting Engineers of Dallas,
where his residence address is
3621 Hanover. Several weeks ago
Gibson was a campus visitor, hav-
ing been sent here on an assignment
by his company.
W .S. GOODLET, JR. is living at
2403 Avenue N, Snyder, Texas,
where he is clerking in the AAA of-
fice at Snyder.
LIEUTS. PAUL A. KIRK, Mac
D. Oliver, Jr., and Fred A. “Bodie”
Pierce, Jr., were recent campus Vvis-
itors for a few hours. All three
are stationed at Ft. Sam Houston,
Texas. Paul is assigned to the 15th
Field Artilery, Mac to the 12th
Field Artillery, and “Bodie” to the
23rd Infantry. They all report that
they are enjoying their tour of du-
ty and that Ft. Sam is full of ex-

LIEUTENANT MATTHEW W.
Kuykendall, of the U. S. Air Corps,
has been assigned to duty with the
Air Corps Specialized Flying School
at Barksdale Field, Shreveport,
Louisiana. His home is at San Sa-
ba, and he received his commission
last October.
C. R. KYLE, of Madisonville,
was a visitor on the campus recent.

S. EVERETTE MOREHEAD
was a recent campus visitor. Ev-
erette is working for Sears-Roe-
buck Co. at Port Arthur, Texas,
and lives at 3548 9th St., that city.
Everette reported that he liked his
job fine but that he expected to be
working for Uncle Sam for the
next year as his draft number is
at the top of the list.
JAMES A. MURPHY is living at
4314 Roseland Avenue, Houston,
Texas, where he is an engineer with
the State Highway Department.
S. J. PARKS, 4309 Gaston Ave.,
Dallas, was a recent campus Vis-
itor. Jack is employed by Bran-
iff Airways, working as an engi-
neer in the Dallas office. Jack re-
ceived his degree in Mechanical
Engineering and, although he start-
ed out with Braniff as general
flunky, he is now using his college
training to good advantage. While
his work keeps him busy, he oc-
casionally finds time to fly and
recently had a narrow escape when
his plane nosed over on landing.
However, he was fortunate in that
the only injuries were a bruised
forehead and a few loose teeth.
MORRIS W. PETTIT is a sec-
ond lieutenant in the U. S. Army,
69th C. A. (A. A.) and is now lo-
cated at Camp Hulen, Palacios,
Texas.
For the past several months he
has been stationed at Fort Crock-
ett in Galveston. Morris was an
agricultural engineering student
while in A. & M. and was a first
lieutenant in the Coast Artillery.
H. V. PENDERY is a sergeant in
the National Guard in the 142nd
Infantry and stationed at Camp
Bowie. He enlisted at Greenville.
LIEUTENANT FRED A. “BOD-
ie” Pierce has been on active duty
since: shortly after his graduation
and is stationed at San Antonio,
following the completion of a course
at Ft. Benning, Georgia. The for-
mer Aggie yell leader is a good
looking soldier. On a recent visit
to the campus he declared that
he was “stil single but was work-
ing on the job. He is a member of
the Board of Directors of the Asso-
ciation of Former Students and
his home is at Luling, Texas.
VICTOR W. POST asks us to
send his TEXAS AGGIE to 106
First Street, Hearne, Texas, where
he is working on the National De-
fense Shop Training Program.
A. TOM F. SEALE is living at
129 E. Kerr, Lufkin, Texas, where
he is resident engineer for the
State Highway Department. While
attending A. & M., Seale took civil
engineering and was a distinguished
student.
WM. G. STEED gets his mail at
Box 4, Jacksboro, Texas, where
he is in the oil business.
ROBERT B. GROULX is train-
ing as a pilot with the Royal Can-
adian Air Force. Upon completion
of his course, in aproximately five
months, he will go overseas as a
commissioned officer in the R.C.A.

Ontario, Canada. Groulx reports
that Jack Garner, ’40, is also

CHARLIE G. WARD writes
to change his address from Gon-
zales to 130 Mahncke Court, San
Antonio, Texas,
LEONARD J. “LARRY” WEHR-
LE is now living at Mineola, Tex-
as, and receives his mail at Box
242. Larry is employed by the
Reeves Abstract Company and re-
ports that things are really hum-
ming as the Hawkins Oil Field has
recently been opened up in that
territory. Larry received his de-
gree in marketing and finance and
his senior year he was Captain
of the Artillery Band, advertising
manager of the Battalion and took
part in many other student activi-
ties. Larry and Mrs. Wehrle have
been living in Bryan until he ac-
cepted his present position in Min-
eola.
JAMES W. WHITSON has
| changed his address from Pecos,
to Balmorhea, Texas.
GEORGE B. JARED is living at
303 E. Gulf Street, Goose Creek,
Texas, where he is with the Tem-
ple Lumber Company.
ALLAN H. NEIGHBORS, JR. is
attending medical school at the
University Medical College, Gal-
veston. Allan is the son of Dr.
and Mrs. A. H. Neighbors, ’11,
prominent physician and surgeon
of Austin. Dr. Neighbors was pres-
ident of the 1911 Class at A. & M.
Homer S. Hill is another 40 man
with Geo. A. Hormel & Co., 300
Burr Oaks Drive South, Austin,
Minn. Hill writes that it has given
him and the other A. & M. men
up there great pride and joy to
read of the wonderful accomplish-
ments of the No. 1 football team.
He says he hopes to be back in
the good Lone Star State in the
spring, spreading the good news
about HORMEL good food.

Carroll K. Baxter, Jr., is living
at 1009 W. San Fernando Road,
Burbank, California, where he is
an apprentice mechanic for the
Lockheed Aircraft Co.
Wm. R. Hunnicutt is attending
school at the Texas Dental Col-
lege, Houston.
Walton R. Lehmberg is living at
112 University Avenue, San An-
tonio, where he is doing office
work for the Alamo Cotton and
Oil Refining Company. Lehmberg
was captain in G Infantry, a
member of the Saddle and Sirloin
Club, a member of the Interna-
tional Livestock Judging Team,
president of the Heart O’Texas
and Mountaineers Club, and the
best drilled man in 1939 while a
student at A. & M.
W. Curtis Melton, Jr., is now in
the Air Corps Advanced Flying
School, Kelly Field, Texas, and is
due to receive his commission in
January, 1941. His mailing address
is Class 41-A, Cadet Detachment,
Kelly Field, Texas.
Teddy R. Nix gets his mail at
Route 8, Dublin, Texas, where he
is teaching school at the Punnis
School.
James D. Patton gets his mail

Joseph Parish and J. F. Dexter
are with the Dow Chemical Com-

Don Parker has been connected
with Rockwell Bros. and Company,
lumbermen of Houston, since short-
ly after his graduation. His mailing

Hugh L. Scott is with the Gulf
Oil Corporation and at this time
is located at Segno, Texas.
Arba L. Norton is now a second
lieutenant in the U. S. Marine
Corps and is attending the Marine
Basic School, Navy Yard, Phila-
deiphia, Penmsylvama.
George P. Mitchell is doing en-
gineering work with the Stanolind
Oil and Gas Company and is living
at 131 West Division, Jennings,
Louisiana.
R. T. Shiels, Jr., with the Gen-
eral Electric Company, Schenect-
ady, N. Y., and is residing at 1417
Union Street. “Bob” is a son of
R. T. Shiels, ’10, Dallas. As a stu-
dent of A. & M., “Bob” was lieu-
tenant colonel of the field artillery,
a member of the Ross Volunteers,
captain of the pistol team, the
best drilled man in 1938, and a
member of the Scholarship Honor
Society.
Web Downer is with the Texas
Cities Gas Co., Waco.
James J. Webb, Jr., is assistant
manager of the Woodson Lumber
Company at Caldwell, but makes
his home at 501 East 29th Street,
Bryan.
Dr. Louis D. Chedester is prac-
ticing veterinary medicine at Cor-
dell, Oklahoma and is living at 112
South Linwood.
Charles H. Yeates is living at
Route 2, Jasper, Texas.
Lamar M. Duhon, Jr., gets his
mail at Box 132, Tomball, Texas,
where he is in the Production De-
partment of the Humble Oil &
Refininy Company. Duhon reports
that he has been married two
years and is getting along splen-
didly.
Elton Lewis is with the Gulf Oil
Corporation in the Accounting De-
partment and lives at 2211, 5th
Street, Port Arthur, Texas.
Clark Harvey is with the A.A.A.
and was recently transferred from
Muleshoe to the headquarters of-
fice at College Station. He resides
at 208 North Houston, Bryan,
Texas.
Horace L. Cooke, who completed
his sophomore year in June, 1940,
is now employed by the Consolidat-
ed Aircraft Corporation, San Die-
go, California, where his residence
address is Room 304, Army and
Navy Y.M.C.A.
A. Thomas Hingle, who took his
degree in chemical engineering, is
employed by the Magnolia Pe-
troleum Company and has just
moved his residence address to
4010 Rawlins, Dallas.
DERRELL D. PITTS is equip-
ment inspector for the C. C. C.
Motor Repair Division No. 5, 2750
State Street, Salem, Oregon. As a
student at A. & M., Pitts was a
member of the Ross Volunteers,
and participated in other student
affairs. He is a younger brother
of R. B. Pitts, ’17, who resides at
1135 Ogden Street, Denver, Col-
orado.
William H. Reeder is with Rich-
ardson Oils, Incorporated, and his
present business address is Fort
Worth National Bank Building, Ft.
Worth, Texas.
Richard L. Patrick is now a
lieutenant in the Coast Artillery
and is located at Fort Crockett.
Marvin H. Ferguson in writing
from 1939 K. Street N. W., Wash-
ington, D. C., reports that Aggies
Dick Todd and Charlie Malone are
both very popular with the foot-
ball fans in Washington. Marvin
is with the United States Golf
Association, assigned to duty in
the Greens Section.
Ioland E. Dutton is now located
at Milano, Texas, where he is con-
nected with the public schools. He
is serving as principal of the gram-
mar grades and coaching basket-
ball, track, and baseball for the
high school.
W. F. Pearson, Jr., is studying
aeronautical engineering at the
Dallas Aviation School, Love Field.
Bill, Jr. has completed a course
in Diesel motors in Houston as
well as two years in mechanical
engineering here at A. & M. Col-
lege.
William W. Hendricks is now
employed by the Shell Oil Company
as an accounting clerk in their
Houston office.
Homer S. Hill, who is employed
by the Geo. A. Hormel & Co,
Austin, Minnesota, writes that he
has been “enjoying” some very
cold weather—in fact, he says the
first time he stuck his head out,
both ears froze stiff. Homer ex-
pects his work to bring him back
to Texas this next spring. He can

Drive So., of the above city.
Anthony K. Coffman is working
for the State Highway Department
at Guthrie, Texas. Anthony re-
ceived his degree in Animal Hus-
bandry last February and recently
made his first visit back to the
campus.
EDWARD D. JOHNSON, 310
Burr, Houston, was a recent Cam-
pus visitor, Ed reports that he
expects to be drafted in the next
call as he has already had his phy-
sical examination and has" been
classed as A-1. While he has no
objections to serving his year for
Uncle Sam, he was bemoaning the
fact that his being called knocked
[him out of a job that he had had |
R. C. “Eddie” HALL is with
Swift and Company, Fort Worth.
LIEUT. PHIL. C. HANKAMER,
who since graduation has been
employed by the Gulf Oil and Re-
fining Company in Southern Loui-
siana, was recently called to ac-
tive duty at Fort Wayne, Detroit,
Michigan, where he is in charge
of the personnel of the Motor Sup-
ply Division, Fort Wayne Quarter-
master Dept. His present address
is Post Headquarters, Fort Wayne,
Detroit, Michigan.
ROLAND R. HASS is now em-
ployed by Koch and Fowler, con-
sulting engineers, at Camp Bowie,
Brownwood, Texas.
WALLACE and FRANCES
JAMES KIMBROUGH are trying
to prove that two can live as cheap-
ly as one at 1010 Mallard Avenue,
Palestine, Texas. Wallace is as-
sistant county agent, and a brother
of Jack and John, now in school.
LIEUT. PAUL J. LEMM, JR.
was a brief campus visitor during
the Christmas holidays while on
short leave from his active duty
with the Communications Group,
Co. M, Third Training Bat., at
Fort Benning, Ga. After March 1
he will return to his regular outfit,
the 9th Infantry, at Fort Sam
Houston, Texas. He reports many
A. & M. officers on duty at Fort
Benning and that they are all
getting along nicely.
FRANK R. DUKE is on active
duty at Fort Benning, Ga., and
assigned to the special parachute
troops division.
JOE H. McFARLAND is with
the Texas State Highway Depart-
ment and at the present time gets
his mail at Box 265, Pharr, Texas.
While a student at A. & M., “Mac”
took engineering administration
and was active in many student
affairs.
GEORGE P. MITCHELL is do-
ing engineering work with the
Stanolind Oil Company and is now

CHARLES E. WILLIAMS is

DR. HARRY B. REELE is a

JAMES M. CONNOR, JR. has
