MEMORANDUM NO. 79
Caldwell Trophy Competition
1. Competition for the Caldwell
Trophy will be held on the area
just north of Goodwin Hall, Fri-
day, May 27, 1938, at 5:15 P. M.
2. This competition is for the
purpose of selecting the best drill-
ed cadet in the Manual of Arms.
Each organization may enter one
cadet in the competition. The name
of the cadet from each organiza-
tion will be reported in writing to
this office by the organization com-
mander prior to noon, Friday, May
27, 1938.
3.. Competitors will report to
Captain Martin Moses, Infantry, on
the area designated above at 5:15
P. M.,, May 27, 1938, armed with
the service rifle and wearing the
regulation Sam Browne belt less]
shoulder strap.
UNIFORM: No. 2 with slacks.
All insignia of grade, class, branch
of service and organization will be
removed. The wearing of any iden-
tification mark will be cause for.
disqualifgication.
4. Competitors will be judged
solely on the execution of the Man-
ual of Arms.
