GENERAL ORDERS No. 11
1. It is with much pleasure and
pride that your Professor of Mili-
tary Science and Tactics congratu-
lates you upon your very fine
military performance on Jesse
Jones Day. Under the circumstance
of having in your rank over 1,700
Freshmen to assimulate, and the
short period of instruction, one
month, your military conduct and
bearing were exceeding praise-
worthy. This praise should but
stimulate you to strive for greater
perfection in all things, remem-
bering that perfection can never
be reached but can always be
nearer approached by constant, con-
tinued effort and determination.
2. Your President, Dr. Walton,
spoke in high praise of your fine
gentlemanly and military behavior
and bearing.

NOTICE
The Cadet Corps is highly com-
mended for its fine appearance and
gentlemenly conduct while attend-
ing the corps trip to Dallas. Words
of praise and commendation were
heard on every hand. The Cadet
Corps as well as the football team
turned in a very fine appearance.
On the other hand, we must
punish the two cadets we caught
making an attempt to enter the
football staadium without having
bought tickets to the game. These
two cadets will be confined to
the Campus until the end of the
football season, will not be allow-
ed to attend the Thanksgiving
game and will report to a police
sergeant on the Y.M.C.A. steps
from 9 A.M. to 11 P. M. each hour
of the day during the Thanks-
giving vacation.
