THE SMALL TOWN BANK
| “The Small Town Bank” will be
| the subject of Dr. V. P. Lees lect-
§ (ure before the Social Science Semi-
nar next Monday night, March 9,
at 8 o'clock in the lecture room on
‘the third floor of the new Library.
Dr. Lee has made a special study
during the past three years of the
operations of country banks over
the United States. He has had
detailed reports from about 100
Texas country banks each year for
three years, in which he has noted
the earnings, expenses and losses.
In this study he has observed the
cause of bank failures since 1910.
A bulletin entitled “The Small
Town Bank” is being prepared for
the Experiment Station by Dr. Lee
and it will be available later on.
A cordial invitation is extended
students, faculty and other college
residents.
