TRADE CONFERENCE
The Department of Economics is
now arranging for a trade confer-
ence to be conducted at the College
on January 23 and 24 by six of-
ficials of the United States De-
partment of Commerce.
The purpose of the conference
is to present information, through
lectures and discussions, regarding
the domestic and the foreign trade
promotional activities of the De-
partment of Commerce and of
other governmental and private
agencies; and to point out some of
the leading current trade problems
and trends,
Gulf-Southwest region.
The services of these officials
are available for talks before clas-
ses and other groups; and the par-
ticipation of interested groups in
the general conferences to be held
on Friday afternoon and evening,
January 238, is solicited.
