THE DAILY BULLETIN Thursday, September 18, 1930. PETITIONS (Official) It will not be practicable to act upon petitions during the days set apart for registration, September 17, 18, 19. Students who have presented petitions affecting their list of studies must complete their registration on the days specified, not waiting to get an answer to their petitions. Necessary changes in assignment | cards may be made later if petitions ~ are approved. Under the rules all petitions af- fecting study lists should have been presented at least one week before the | first day of the session. CHARLES PURYEAR, Dean. CIVILIAN DRESS (Official) The Executive Committee held a meeting yesterday at 4:00 p. m. consider requests for exemption from wearing the uniform. : For the benefit of students who were unable to present their requests at that time, the Committee will hold another meeting for the same purpose Thursday, September 18 at 7:30 p. m. in the Dean’s office. Those concerned may present requests at that time in person. They should, however, com- plete their registration today not wait- ing for action on such requests. CHARLES PURYEAR, Dean. I suggest that heads of depart- ments of instruction get enough copies for members of their respective staffs. GRADUATE STUDENTS (Official) 5 Graduate students who desire to room in Graduate Hall and not to take their meals in the Mess Hall should so state when they reach the Fiscal De- partment in the process of registra- tion. CHARLES PURYEAR, Dean. UNIFORM REGULATIONS 1. Uniform regulations for the Cadets Corps as published last school year will hold for the present school year with a few minor exceptions. There will be no revision for the pre- sent. The exceptions will be included in the next edition of the Uniform Regulations. They are as follows: (a) Uniform No. 2 or No. 3 is prescribed for mounted passes. (b) The wearing on the campus of white trousers with white shirt and black tie is permitted after dinner on Sundays as well as after supper on other days. (c) The wearing of headgear to and from classrooms is optional. (d) The overseas cap is an op- tional article of uniform. It may be worn at all times except in formations. When worn, the stitching at the top of the cap which holds the two sides together must not be removed. 2. . The Uniform Regulations for non-military students have been pub- lished as an annex to the Uniform Regulations for the Jladet Corps. These should be consulted by all non- military students before purchasing . | their uniforms. 3. The allowances of commutation of uniform for R. O. T. C. students, effective July 1st this year, are as follows: $10.00 $10.00 $30.00. 10.00 Payment of these allowances is not First year basic course, Second year basic course, First year advanced course, Second year advanced course, {authorized unless the student has been properly uniformed at a cost not less than that of the commutation.
