NELSON, Commandant AERIALS ON DORMITORY * ROOFS All aerials now on the roofs of dormitories will be removed not later than Retreat, February 11th, by the cadets who installed them. Tactical Officers will designate someone to supervise this removal in order that no damage may be done to the roofs. In the future no aerials will be permitted on the roofs. A recent investigation has developed the fact that in one barracks approximately $300 worth of damage has been done as the re- sult of leaks caused by unauthoriz- ed installation of aerials and un- authorized visits to the roof. No one is authorized to go on the roof of the barracks except under in- structions from the Superintendent of Buildings and Grounds. Senior cadet officers in dormitories are charged with seeing that these in- structions are carried out. J. E. SLOAN, Major, EF. TO ADDRESS SCIENCE SEMINAR Unusual opportunities to hear outstanding men from other insti- tutions in the state are presented to the students and people of Bryan and College communities through the exchange lectures which are ar- ranged by the Science Seminar. The first exchange lecturer of the year is Dr. C. I. Alexander who comes from Texas Christian University. Dr. Alexander will give an il- lustrated lecture on “The Rise of Mammals.” This subject is very promising, especially to those in- terested in evolutionary questions. The lecture is free and will be given in the Physics Building at 8 o’clock Monday, February 10. The public is invited.
