W. E. WICKENDEN WILL SPEAK AT CONFERENCE The principal speaker for the Teach- ers’ Conference this evening at 7:00 o’clock in the Mess Hall will be Mr. W. E. Wickenden, Director of In- the Promotion of Engineering Education. Mr. Wickenden has had a number of year’s experience as a teacher, followed by several years as an exe- cutive of a large industrial organi- zation. He is now engaged as Di- rector of Investigation of Engineer- ing Education being conducted by the Society for the Promotion of Engin- eering Education under a grant of funds by the Carnegie Corporation. Those included in class B will be permitted to fire a limited number of rounds once a week, providing im- provement in scores indicates regular trigger squeeze exercise between fir- ings. It will be impossible to allow others to fire, except in the case of such men as have had previous experience, and have not fired this season. Such men may obtain permission to fire by seeing me.
