BACHELOR CLUB DANCE ON FRIDAY EVENING The Bachelor Club will give a dance on Friday evening, February 5, at the Fin and Feather Club, Bryan. Facul- ty members are cordially invited. The Aggieland Orchestra will play. The dance will begin after the basketball game so that those who attend the game will not be late. Your Patronage will be appreciated | window from_ 8:00 to 1:00 o’clock on | February 4, 5 and 6. : RELAY CARNIVAL TO BE STAGED HERE ON APRIL 30 What promises to be the greatest assemblage of High School track and field athletes at Kyle Field to par- ticipate in the relay Carnival, which is the first of its kind to be held at the College, will open on April 30. Relay events have become the most popular form of track sport, and the Aggies are giving the high schools of the State a relay meet of their own. The second day will see the track and field meet, held as it is every year. All the events that pertain to a big meet will be carried out, such as the quarter mile, half mile and mile relay of four men. Also there will be a sprint medley relay, with distances of 100 yards, 220 yards, 440 yards and | 880 yards and the mile distances. Regular conference events are sche- duled for the following day. James Sullivan and the Athletic Council are doing themselves proud in the way of awards for the high school winners. Beautiful gold medals will go to the winners of each of the relay races and gold, silver and bronze medals will be awarded the first three places in the track and field meets on the following day. Local entertainment will be given all visiting contestants. Any high school or prep school man, eligible under the State Interscholastic regulations can compete. Coach Frank Anderson will have charge of the meet and all arrangements.
