INFORMATION ON PAYMENT OF
COMMUTATION OF UNIFORMS
Headquarters Reserve Officers’ Training Corps
The attention of all students is a-
gain invited to the information re-
garding the payment of commutation
of uniforms which appears on page
74 and 75 of the 49th Catalogue.
The requirement that students must
purchase uniforms thru’ the College
Store in order to receive the pre-
scribed allowance is based upon the
desire of the War Department that
students be permitted to obtain the
required articles at the lowest price
possible consistent with proper quali-
ty and that all articles be uniform.
Compliance with this desire per-
mits the College to furnish uniforms
of a quality of material of workman-
ship which cannot be duplicated at
the same cost by any commercial firm.
All Military equipment that is sold
through this Department has been in-
spected and approved both as to quali-
ty and price by the governing authori-
ties of this Institution.
Complete information regarding uni-
forms and the payment of the allow-
ance may be obtained in Room 6,
Military Science Building.
Students are warned that no com-
mercial firm is authorized to solicit
business on the campus and that ar-
ticles of uniform purchased from such
firms will be rejected at the first
inspection of uniforms unless they are
strictly in accordance with specifica-
tions.
F. H. TURNEF,
Commandant.
