PRESBYTERIANS WILL
HAVE PICNIC TOMORROW
The picnic that was planned by the
Presbyterian group for last Saturday
night will be pulled off tomorrow
night. There will’ be plenty of girls
and plenty of eats—barbecue. We
are planning for a large crowd. Ev-
~eryone meet at the Y. M. C. A. at
6:00 p. m. tomorrow.

PROMPT ATTENTION PREVENTS
LOSS TO BUSINESS HOUSES
Prompt and efficient attertion to a
blaze that started in the rear of the
Boyett building housing the Campus
Grocery and the College Drug Store
about 8 o'clock Wednesday evening
prevented serious loss and probable
destruction of the new building and
the two businesses. Local residents
passing at the time gave the saving
attention. Expression of apprecia-
tion for the good work was made yes-
terday morning by Charles Opersteny
of the Campus Grocery, Mr, James of
the drug store and Oran Boyett own-
er of the building.
Damage amounting to about $100
was done.
