The meeting was between the College Sec- tion advisory committee of the Ameri- can Society of Agricultural Engineer- ing and S. H. McCrory, chief of the division of agricultural engineering in the U. S. Department of Agriculture and his staff. The American Society group composed of five members of which Mr. Scoates is chairman, a post that he has held for the past three years. Other states represented in the committee at Washington were California, Iowa, Penrslyvania and Kansas.
