ria Academy extend to the ladies of
the Campus an invitation to visit
their fancy work booth at the Catho-
lic Bazaar to be held at the K. of C.
Hall in Bryan on December 8th and

will be found at this booth ranging
in price from twenty cents to twen-

cy is desired a newer method known
as the “charcoal absorption” or more
properly “absorption” is being used.
The compression method consists pri-
marily of compressing gas to a pres-
sure approximately 250 pounds per
square inch, passing this gas through
water-cooled coils and into accumu-
lator tarks and sometimes supple-
menting the gas to further cooling
by refrigeration. The object being
to bring about a high enough pres-
sure and low enough temperature to
exceed the allowable saturation point
of the gas. The removal of gasolire
by the compression method depends

cal law describing the action of par-
tial pressure. This is in effect the
statement of Mr. Hosmer in his ad-
dress here.
A large number of engineering stu-
dents and officials of the College
heard the address. The speaker was
entertained during his stay here by
Dr. C. C. Hedges, head of the De-
partment of Chemistry and Chemical
Engineering.
