ENGINEERING CONFERENCE
7:30 TOMORROW EVENING

The December meeting of the En-
gineering Teachers’ Conference will
be held in the Mess Hall Annex at
7:30 tomorrow evening. Dean Wink-
ler will discuss some teaching prob-
lems, and C. L. Poole, president of
the Texas State Manufacturing As-
sociation and G. M. Knebel, vice-pres-
ident and general manager of the
same association: will discuss some of
the manufacturing problems of Tex-
as.
The dinner will be seventy-five
cents a plate. Please phone your re-
servations for dinner to my office
by 9:00 o’clock tomorrow morning.
All teachers of engineering stu-
dents are expected to attend the meet-
ing, and all others who are interest-
ed, including ladies, are welcome.

GEOLOGY ELECTIVES

Students who have decided definite-
Agricultural Geology,
Course 210 (2-2), and Petroleum Geo-
logy, Course 404 (3-3) for the second
term of 1924-1925 are requested to
notify ther Head of the Department
by not later than December 15. Such
notification is necessary in behalf of
the departmental book orders that
must be submitted before: the Christ-
mas holidays. In the meantime, we
shall be very glad to confer with any
students who are thinking seriously
of taking these electives.
