Cadets whose disciplinary records and scholastic records are satisfac- tory and who show authority from pa- rents or guardians may be permitted passes from retreat Thursday 17th until call to quarters Sunday 20th. College Postoffice Institution of night mail service, | up until 8:30 in the College Station | | Postoffice effective yesterday has ‘been announced by Miss Florence M. | Guyer, postmistress. This means that letters mailed at the Postoffice be- fore 8:30 in the evening will be tied , out for the night trains. Under the present system of col-| ' lections at the Faculty Exchange it | | will be necessary for mail to be posted | at the Postoffice instead of the Fa- culty Exchange after 4 o’clock to get in the night mail as 4 o’clock | “is the latest ccllection at the Faculty - Exchange. This will make possible the mailing of let- ters by patrons as late as 8:30 p. m. and insure their dispatch on the n‘ght trains. LAWRENCE e——— AGGIE RIFLE TEAM GETS TWO VICTORIES IN WEEK; THIRD IS NARROWLY MISSED The Aggie rifle team coached by Captain L. R. Besse won two inter- collegiate victories on the indoor rifle court the past week, according to mail report of comparative scores received here. The two victories were on Syracuse University of Syracuse, New York and the University of Il- linois at Champagne. A third match | with Kansas State Agricultural Col- lege was lost by the small margin of 21 points. The scores were 3624 and 3645. Two other matches will be shot next week, one with Oklahoma A. & M.
