No. 123 TERPSICHORE WILL WORK OF VOCATIONAL TEAM T0 LEAVE REIGN APRIL 17-19 King Bartlett of Ross Volunteers and Lady Katherine Beard Will Rule with Festive Events. A reign of terpsichore with its ac- companing music, laughter and merry making incidents of gala attire and intcxicating diversion will be in Ag- gieland beginning Thursday evening April 17 and continuing through Sat- urday. King Silas C. Bartlett and Queen Katherine Beard of Mart will govern the realm in that period with rules forming a code of cheer. The chief incidents of their court festi- vities will be the dances. The first of these will furnish the setting for the coronation on Thursday evening. The second and third will follow on succeeding nights. The first is known familiarly as the queen’s ball, the second as the R. V. Hop and the third the R. V. corps dance. For many years the period of festive events has been known simply as R. V., being a contraction of Ross Vol- unteer, the name of the organization ¢f junior and senior students under whose direction the celebration is held. | jective. TRAINING DISCUSSED, Dean C. H. H. Wink- ler yesterday morning. In past years it has been the custom (f the College to send the same team to Oklahoma and Fort Worth but since Oklahoma A. & M. is the chief competitor of Texas A. & M. in both the Forth Worth and Oklahoma City shows and these con- tests are considered as preliminary events in preparation for the Inter- national show at Chicago next fall Coach Stangel has decided to use dif- ferent teams in the two contests this spring in order to give training to the greater number of men. ——————————————— ARCHITECTURAL CLUB SMOKER WILL BE HELD TONIGHT Smokes will be the order of the meeting, to be held in room 400 Main building, immediately after supper to- night. There will be an interesting program, and further plans will be discussed for the “Fete-Charrette’, as the architects’ annual affair is to be called this year.
