Military Academy Tentative pick of a rifle and pistol team to represent the College in matches this year will be made this afternoon when teams are seleced to shoot a prescribed round, the results | of which will be competed against a similarly recorded course shot by teams at West Point. In other words it will be a shooting match with tele- graph service as the medium of result | comparisons. This will give the men preliminary practice to the final competitive match of the year which will be shot in tri- angular fashion against the ninth | and twenty-third infantry regiments | on the Campus Bullis range near San | Antonio next Saturday. Information has been obtained here that interest in the coming match among the regular army regiments is mounting almost to an pitch as a result of the defeat which | A. & M. handed to the regulars last | spring.
