BATTALION LEAGUE GAMES
WILL BE PLAYED TODAY
Two games of the Battalion Foot-
ball League will be played this af-
ternoon and as a result of these
games the two teams that will play
for the championship next Sunday
will be picked.
The Casuals will play the Cavalry
at 2 o'clock and the Second Battal-
ion and Artillery will meet at 3:30
on Kyle field.
The all-company game will follow
the championship game.

AGRICULTURAL RESEARCH
CONFERENCE TUESDAY
The Agricultural Research Confer-
ence of the Experiment Station will
hold the regular monthly session on
Tuesday
in the conference room at the Sta-
tion building.
Dr. G. S. Fraps will discuss some
problems of the Division of Chen-
istry. All are urged to attend.

Rev. H. W. Knickerbocker, pastor
of the First Methodist church of
Marlin will deliver his annual ser-
mon in Guion hall this morning at
the regular religious convocation be-
ginning at 10:50.
In his letter to President Bizzell
accepting the invitation to speak Mr.
Knickerbocker stated that his sub-
ject would be: “Fools” and added the
request that Dr. Bizzell have all
them at the service.
All others are also invited to keep
the fools company and save them any
embarrassment.

The three denominational groups,
Baptist, Methodists and Presbyter-
ians will hold their regular meetings
at 6:45 in the usual places, Baptists
in Guion hall; Methodists in the lec-

the Y. M. C. A. chapel.

ville at Kyle Field yesterday, both on
the inside and outside court. |
The elimination contest was held in
the Gymnasium on Thursday after-
noon and was participated in by
Bryan, representing Brazos county,
Navasota, Grimes county, Bellville, |
Austin county, Madisonville, Madison |
county and Caldwell, Burleson county. |
All were eliminated except Bryan and |
Madisonville and their games were |
