tural and Mechanical College of Texas. Of-
ficial Publication of the College. Distributed
free to all students, instructors and Campus

It will be recalled that the legisla-
ture recently abolished the law pro-
viding for the Experiment Substation
Board and placed the government of
the main station and substations in
the control of the board of directors of
the A. and M. College.
Salary Budget Approved.
The board of directors approved the
salary budget of the senior institution
and the branch colleges, accepted res-
ignations, approved appointments and
the following promotions: G. A.
Geist, from associate professor to full
professor of free hand drawing; T. J.
Conway, from associate professor to
full professor of poultry husbandry;
H. N. June, from instructor to asso-
ciate professor of architecture; E. M.
Regenbrecht from instructor to asso-
ciate professor of animal husbandry,
and R. S. Fouraker, from instructor
to associate professor of drawing.
In the joint meetinig of the A. and
M. and University boards, a numbex
of matters vital to the interests of
both institutions were discussed and
plans for the solving of problems con-
cerning both schools were made, the
support of both boards being pledged
to help in any program of impreve-
ment that may be later worked out, |
for securing better support from the
legislature and from the people of
Texas in general.

PRESBYTERIAN SERVICES
The sophomores will have charge of
the preliminary program of the Pres-
byterian group meeting beginning in
the Y. M. C. A. Chapel at 6:45 this
afternoon. Their subject will be, “Pa-
triotism and Citizenship.”
Rev. W. H. Matthews, the pastor
will preach on the same subject.
BAPTIST SERVICES
B. Y. P. U. meetings being held in
connection with the Baptist services
will begin at 6:45 in Guion Hall this
evening, with the freshmen leading
one group and the seniors the other.
Rev. R. L. Brown, Baptist student pas-
tor will preach.
METHODIST SERVICES
The program of the Methodist group
meeting to be held in the lecture room
of the Electrical Engineering build-
ing will be in charge of Mrs. Martin
L. Hayes.
Rev. King Vivion, Methodist student
pastor will preach about, “Men.”
EPISCOPAL SERVICES
Rev. Bird, Episcopal pastor of
Bryan will conduct a morning prayer
service for Episcopal students and
campus people in Room 11, Civil En-
gineering building this morning be-
ginning at 9 o’clock.
SENIOR BIBLE CLASS
