D.X.BIBLE “EDDIE” MAHAN BACK FROM THE OLYMPIC GAMES “Harvard” Jack Mahan, the husky full-back and captain of the A. and M. team was greeted by an immense throng at College Station Sunday evening. He has just returned from the Olympic games, where he entered in the javelin events. Mahan is in the best of condition, as he has been con- sistently training all summer. He took his first workout on Kyle field Mon- | day evening, and his appearance | seemed to instill new life into the en- | tire squad. Coach Bible is highly elat- | ed over his return. Mahan has made | | an exceptionally good record in his| academic work as well as his athlet- | ics.
