(b) CONTRIBUTIONS ASKED FOR A CAMPAIGN FUND Money is Needed to Arouse Public to Necessity of Voting For Edu- cational Amendment Attention has been called to the fact that the A. and M. College is the only state school whose faculty, so far, has made no contribution to the campaign for the educational amend- ment to be voted on next November. Members of the faculties of state institutions have- been requested to contribute $1.00 each and most of them have responded. It is earnestly hoped members of ithe teaching staff and other officers of the college will without delay, call at the Publicity office and give a dol- lar to help defray the expenses of this important campaign. About one hundred boys had ex- pressed interest in agriculture and engineering and a 15 minute per- sonal conference was held with each boy, in which the purposes and ben- efits of such work were fully ex- plained. The results of the confer- ences were highly satisfactory to | everyone concerned and it is the plan of the Y. M. C. A. in coopera- tion with the colleges of the state to make the “Find yourself” cam- paign a state-wide affair in the fu- ture. ~~ — COMMENCEMENT NOTICE i “— The commencement committee wishes the co-operation of both the College officials and students in mak- ing Monday morning worth while ‘to the visitors to the College during commencement exercises. To this end the following definite requests are made by Dr. F. B. Clark, chair- man of the entertainment com- mittee: 1. That a notation of all demon- strations be handed to Geo. Long in Publicity office by Wednesday night. On the basis of information thus se- eured an itinerary will be arranged by Mr. Long. This information can be secured only from heads of de- partments charge. : 2.
