D., head of the Chair of Homilitics and the English Bible, Chaplain, and Acting Dean of the School of Theology of Southern Meth- odist University, Dallas. He was educated at the old Randolph-Macon College and at Vanderbilt University, and has done special work at Chi- cago, Union Seminary, and at Col- umbia University. He was pastor of one of the larg- est churches in Nashville before com- ing to Dallas, and has been with the university since its founding. In addition to his college duties, he is now supply pastor for the Univer- sity Methodist Church and has the largest student attendance that has ever attended this church.
