BOMBING PLANE
TO BEHERETODAY :
Will be the First Number on the Pro-
gram of the Electrical Engineer-
ing Reception.
Today is the day of the Elec-
trical Engineering show and recep-
tion. Professor Bolton assisted by
students of the E. E. Department,
has been constantly busy for many
weeks preparing for something worth
while to interest the people of Col-
lege Station and Bryan. Much time
and considerable expense has been
expended both by himself and the
students and they are anxious for
everyone to enjoy the results of their
efforts. The pleasure of those who
are to be their guests on this occa-
sion is the only thing that has
prompted them in their work.
The first part of the program pre-
pared by them has been set for
this afternoon at 3 o’clock when
they will be ready to receive guests.
This will be a most unusual thing.
An army plane, one of the large
bombing types carrying a complete
equipment of both wireless telephone
and telegraph systems will fly over
College Station, and messages from
the plane will be received in the E.
E. Building.
The reception proper will begin at
7:45 tonight, in: the: E. &E.
Building and it will be followed b
music and dancing in Sbisa Hall An-
nex.
Everyone connected with the Col-
lege, Experiment Station and Exten-
sion Service, as well as Bryan peo-
ple are invited to attend.

BATTALION SECURES BAYLOR
GIRLS FOR CONCERT
APRIL 14th
Thirty-Five Beautiful Young Sing-
ers and Musicians Are Anxious to
Appear Before the Students
The Battalion has just completed
arrangements for the appearance at
College Station of the 1920 Choral
Club of Baylor College for Women
at Belton. In the past this has prov-
en one of the most popular enter-
tainments of the college year and re-
ports from all who have seen and
heard the club this season state that
this appearance will surpass all
others.
The Baylor Club is noted for its
excellent singing and years ago won
the highest favor at A. and M. from
their rendition of such a large num-
| ber of popular songs. They have the
{music and songs that appeal to the
A. and M. audience. Moreover, the
r
| manager, Mr. T. E. Sanderford of
| Belton, has written that the Choral |
| Club for this season has the prettiest
girls ever (which is saying a great
deal) and that they will offer more
of the popular songs than ever be-
fore.
The young ladies have emphatical-
ly expressed their anxiety to appear
here and are looking forward with
the greatest expectation to a memor-
able evening. No doubt, the cadets
and students will fill Guion Hall to
its capacity on this date, and many
campus and Bryan residents have
expressed their pleasure on learning
of the engagement.
The Club is making an extended
tour of East and South Texas and
such is the popularity of these en-
tertainers that A. and M. is very for-
tunate indeed to have secured them
through the efforts of the Battalion
for an appearance. Coming from
Corsicana, the Club spends one eve-
ning with us and proceeds to Hous-
ton for the next entertainment.
The entertainment will begin
promptly at eight o’clock, Wednes-
day evening, April 14th, at Guion
Hall. The Battalion wishes to urge
all those who have missed the pleas-
ures of this annual entertainment in
the past to come out for an evening
|of guaranteed pleasure and enjoy-
| ment. Especially does it wish to
caution every one to come early—
for this is one entertainment of the
year when every seat is taken and
TAKEN EARLY.
