R. B. Goodman has been asked to accept the managership of the party on the trip, and as soon as he accepts work of securing contracts relative to | making the itinerary will begin. The Band hopes to start on their tour about the twentieth of March. | Before leaving, however, they expect J to give concerts in Bryan and per- aps two or three other small towns around College Station, in order to the first expenses of their long trip. They will make these places on Saturday in the time intervening between now and March 20. Practice has practically been sus- pended for the last few days, because of several members being in the hos- pital, but energetic work will be begun for finally fitting the band in the next few weeks. Mr. Asburn is giving his assistance in making preliminary arrangements, his advice being very valuable from the fact of his years of experience with Glee Club and Band trips in the past. President Bizzell authorized the following statement today with refer- ence to the importance of the census now being taken at the College. “The Census Enumerators are now engaged in taking the census of the college community. It is important that full cooperation be given by those living in the community. Every man, woman and child identified with this community should be listed in this census. Careful valuation of college property and revenues on productive enterprises should be incorporated in this report. The importance of an accurate enumeration is recognized when one realizes that for the next ten years these will be the figures distrbuted throughout the world for statistical data relating to the college. The influence of these figures will be far-reaching and it should be our duty to see that the best possible showing is made.” THE SECOND TEAM LEFT FOR AUSTIN Played the Shorthorns Last Night in Fourth Game Played by Them This Season.
