Freshman Algebra and Trig.
In the second term, the first
term’s work in Algebra (Mathe-
matics 101) and Trigonometry
(Mathematics 103) will be repeat-
ed. The new courses will be
known as Mathematies 112 (Alge-
bra), and Mathematics 114 (Trig-
onometry.)
Section A will be scheduled at
9a m.,M. W. F., for Algebra and
9a. m ,T. Th 8. for Trigonom-
etry.
Certain students ‘will be re-
quired to drop Mathematics 102,
104 and to take the new courses.
Others who may desire to take
the new courses should make
written application.

lecturer on Irish folkware, will
appear at the Y. M. C. A. on
Februry 8. Mac Manus it full

Election Results.
As a result'of yesterday's corps
election, J. W. Williams is to be
next year’s editor of the Batta-
liontand O. Li. Neyland, business
manager. Dudley S. Moore is
to be chief yell leader.
The juniors chose the follow-
ing named men for the Long-
horn staft: :

Picture Show.
There will be a free moving
picture show in chapel tonight.
One reel shows the manufacture
of electric lights and the other
two show the manufacture of
transformers. All are invited to
attend.
Cross Country Run.
Great intrest is being shown
by the track men in the cross
country runs. For such faithful
enthusiasm, every man is de-
‘serves a prize. If you have not
seen the silver cups, presented
by Waldrop, Haswell, and Cald-
