(e) As detachments for duty
at target ranges, recruit depots,
United States legations abroad,
naval prisons, for administrative
purposes.
(f) As recuits under training.
The pay and allowances of Ma-
rine officers, grade for grade, are
the same us those of officers of
the infantry of the U. S. Army.
The: base pay of a second lieuten
ant is $1700 per annum, and in
the Marine Corps should address
the Major General Commandant,
Headquarters, U. S. Marine
Corps, Washington, D. C.
