College Station, Texas, Saturday, January 6, 1917. No. 80. t ~ Camps for Members of R.O.T.C. The Menorah Society 1. Seniors and Juniors may take the Advanced Course. R. O. T. C., without obligating them selves to take the camps. In that case however, they are not entitled to the ration privilege. 2. The present Senior Class in order to obtain the ration priv ilege must take one camp subse quent to graduation. H. Juniors in order to obtain the ration privilege must take two camps, one after the junior year and the other subsequent to graduation. 4 In case a member of the Advanced Course (senior or jun ior) applies for and receives a commission in the R. O. T.C. and an appointment as a temporary second lied tenant, he will omit the camp subsequent to gradua tion thus permitting the six months appointment to begin immediately after graduation/. 5 Uniforms will not be' is sued by the government this ses sion (1916-1917). Money for the payment is not now available but the War Department has asked for an appropriation for this pur pose, and has asked that it be made retro active so as to coyer this session 6. Rations in kind and uniforms are supplied by the government, as well as equip merit and medical attention and medical supplies. 7. Members of the R O T C. may take the camps at the end of their freshman and sophomore years, in which case they will not have to take them subse quently. This applies to the present senior and junior classes That is, they may count any training camps that they have attended prior to this date as part of the camp training requir ed of them in theR. O.
