The following memorandum, pertaining to cancellation of per mits, was issued today from the Commandant’s office: • January 3, 1917. NOTICE TO ALL CADETS: All permits for excuse from any military duty are hereby cancelled; effective January 6, 1917. Commencing January 7th, cadets desiring excuse from any military duty must have a new permit approved by the Com mandant. The permits for ca dets working for any department must come through the head of the department and must show the nature of the cadet’s work. Permits excusing cadets to go to their home in Bryan from Satur day noon until Sunday at retreat, to extend through entine session, will not be granted; the permit must be submitted weekly; the same holds good in the cases of men desiring excuse from taps, chapel, etc.; a permit must be submitted for each occasion. Cadets desiring excuse on ac count of being ENTIRELY IN- '^CAPITATED, must submit new permits through the surgeon, nVt later than January 6, 1917. C. H. MULLER, Commandant. Division Inspector List.
