Horticultural Show.
Beginning Friday afternoon at
1 o’clock the Horticultural De
partment will give a departmen
tal show in its laboratories, ex
hibiting subtropical fruits from
Texas, California, and Florida;
the National Nut Growers’ As
sociation display of nuts, togeth
er with Texas varieties; works of
landscape art prepared by stu
dents and instructors of the A.
and M. College and a display of
twelve pieces sent out from Har-
yard University; and cut flowers
and pot plants from all leading
Texas florists. The display will
be open from Friday at 1 p. m.
until 9 o’clock that night, and all
day Saturday and until 9:30 that
night. At 7.45 o’clock the fruits
and flowers will be sold at auc
tion to the highest bidders. Mr.
Kyle is in search of an auctioneer
of experience.
Campus and Bryan people and
all students are urgently invited
to see this display which will be
on the first floor of the Agricul
tural Building.
Faculty Notice.
A meeting of the General Fac
ulty will be held today at 4:10
p. m. W. B. Bizzell,
President.
Tennis Activities.
Plans for the year’s tennis ac
tivities will be made at a meeting
of the College Station Tennis As
sociation Saturday afternoon at
12:45 in room 3 Shirley Annex.
All old members are urged to be
present, and all persons inter
ested in tennis are invited. The
association now has two splendid
clay tennis courts.
