In answer to numerous enquir- ies, I will give a brief account of the large cathedral-shaped clock on exhibition at Leigh's Confec- tionery. It was built by a Bo: hemian farmer who lives about ten miles from Angleton, Texas. - This man is a bachelor and: has amused himself at odd 'mo- ‘ments by carving the parts of the clock, which he started soon after. his arrival in America, some twelve or fifteen years ago. The clock itself is ‘a standard _ eight day clock. The other parts - were collected at odd times. (adv) J. W. KINGSWELL. Guard Detail. | November 27, 1916. Officer of the Day: Cadet Priv. Avent, B.
