Six thousand seats for the Tex
as University - A. and M. College
football game on Thansgiving
Day at Austin have already been
sold, according to a report in the
Daily Texan. “This number at
this date is without precedent.”
“There are six thousand seats
yet to be disposed of before the
seating capacity of the field has
been taken up.”
Only 1st Sergeants Wear Swords.
Only first sergeants or acting
first sergeants are permitted to
wear swords on duty.
Hereafter, the wearing of a
sword by the Sergeant of the
Guard will be discontinued.
