The game with Southwestern
yesterday resulted in only one
touchdown for A. and M. Our
goal, however, was never in dan
ger. Southwestern scored noth
ing. Referees: Moise and Utay.
Chapel Speaker Tomorrow.
Dr. O. E. Goddard, pastor of
the First Methodist Church, of
Galveston, will be the Chapel
speaker tomorrow. Dr. Goddard
is reputed to be one of the strong
est men in Texas Methodism.
Father Gleissner will say mass
for Catholic students and campus
residents in room 401 Main Build
ing, at 8:45 Sunday morning,
October 8. A meeting of all the'
Catholic boys will be held imme
diately after mass.

The Horticultural Society will
hold its first meeting Monday
evening at 7:30 at the ^ome of
Prof, and Mrs. E. J. Kyle. All
students interested in Horticul
ture are invited to attend.
Sunday, immediately after din
ner, at 57 Goodwin, there will be
a meeting of the Houston Club.
All boys from Houston are invit-
