In answer to numerous enquir ies, I will give a brief account of the large cathedral-shaped clock on exhibition at Leigh’s Confec tionery. It was built by a Bo hemian farmer who lives about ten miles from Angleton, Texas. This man is a bachelor and has amused himself at odd mo ments by carving the parts of the clock, which he started soon after his arrival in America, some twelve or fifteen years ago. The clock itself is a standard eight day clock. The other parts were collected at odd times. (adv) J. W. KINGSWELL. Guard Detail. November 27,1916. Officer of the Day: Cadet Priv. Avent, B. R.
